ECu is a pure copper electrode used for
joining and build-up on copper parts requiring
corrosion resistance and thermal and/or
electrical conductivity. A preheat of 750º-
1100ºF should be used for thicker sections.
Use as large an electrode as possible and
maintain a short arc.
Applications
• Joining and build-up of copper parts
